You agree that when you book your tour(s), you are are representing all guests on your booking(s),and are accepting these 'Terms & Conditions' on their behalf. Parents / Legal guardians accept the 'Terms & Conditions' on behalf of their children / dependants.
I,(Sandra OLeary) acts as the middle person between you and the tour operators, or any other services which may be offered during a tour. Therefore, I cannot be held liable by you or your fellow travellers for the services provided, and / or the products offered. Any reference to Sandra OLeary, I, Tour Operators, Guide is understood to include Sandra OLeary.
Product Offered - Omissions or Misrepresentation, Changes:
Much of the information on this Web Site is provided by tour operators / suppliers, and I accept no responsibility for mistakes, omissions or misleading information which may appear. I will offer tours as represented to me by the tour operators, and thus cannot be held responsible should the product offered not be satisfactory or not exactly as described on this website.
I will not be liable and assumes no risk for the obligations of third party providers for any damages, delays, cancellation, loss of goods, sickness or injury, accident, quality of service, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, or Acts of God.
I will not be liable should certain attractions, stops, shopping, Museums, Churches or other places of interest not be open to you on a particular day due to local or religious holidays or any other reason.
I cannot be held responsible should admission fees, or other costs payable on date of the tour be increased or changed. Each person can choose to pay any additional fee on the day of entry, should that happen, at their own discretion. All efforts will be made to see that the product offered is received.
Timing:
Tour operators cannot be held liable if you do not get off your ship in time to meet your tour or group. In such a case, no refund will be offered. All reasonable attempts will be made to ensure the whole group is present before the tour departs. This will be at the discretion of the tour operators / guides in each port.
Tender Ports:
Several ports on various itineraries could be tender ports. These ports require additional time to get to the meeting points for tour departures. Tour operators cannot be held responsible if you do not get off the ship in time to meet your group. All reasonable attempts will be made to ensure all guests are present before the tour starts, however the start time is at the discretion of the tour operators / guides in each port. There may be times tours must depart before all tenders arrive due to circumstances beyond anyones control. In such a case no refunds will be made. Keep in mind, buses are load and go therefore late tenders will generally be on the last bus departure, therefore usually not an issue however, this is not guaranteed.
Guarantees:
Tour operators provide a back to ship on time guarantee. In the unlikely event you do not make it back to the ship on time because of circumstances in the operator’s control, all expenses to get you to the next port of call will be covered. Should ever this not be the guarantee, it will be noted on the tour description page.
Tour schedules / order is subject to change as necessary, or due to unforeseen circumstances, at the discretion of the driver / tour operators. This could also include the exclusion of a particular attraction or stop, to ensure we remain safe and on time. If it is necessary to change or adjust the order of itinerary of the tour for this or other reasons, it will be done so with or without notice, as necessary. The main priority is safety, and to ensure you are back to the ship in time for the ships sailing.
Entry Fees:
Tours will include many highlights. Some we will stop for photo ops, others we will have inside visits, and others we will simply pass by en route to elsewhere. If inside visits require a fee, it will be covered, unless stated otherwise. Some highlights will have optional inside visits that may require a fee. This will be at your own discretion and expense. Due to Covid and losses incurred by many of the sites, it is anticipated entry fees may increase, and adjustments to the cost may be incurred if necessary.
Personal Responsibility:
You are responsible for yourself and your dependants, to show up for your tour on time. Full details will be provided to you as to where and when to meet your tour, prior to the tour date. I nor the tour operators will be held responsible should you miss your tour because you fail to be on time. Take copies or screenshots as necessary. No refund will be provided in such a case.
Time is also important during the tour. We are on a schedule and all information as to where and when to meet after a stop, will be provided. Time in port is limited and each tour is scheduled to start and finish at a certain time. You wiill be advised at each stop, how much time you have and when you are due back. You agree to be courteous to other passengers and guides, and return on time. We do not want to go off schedule, and if necessary passengers will be left behind should they not return to the designated meeting place at the designated time. Should you be left behind, I nor the tour operators will not be held responsible. No refunds will be provided in such a case.
Some tours offer the option to stay behind for shopping or otherwise, and find your own return to the ship ( cab, walk etc). Should you choose to do this, I, the tour guides / operators, will not be responsible should you not make it back in time for the ships sailing.
It is your responsibility to care for your own belongings. I nor the tour operators / guides will be held responsible should you leave personal item behind, or for any expenses related to recovering those items. At times you may be given the option to leave personal items on a bus of other means of transportation. Should you choose to do so, I , the tour operators / guides, will not be held responsible should these be lost, misplaced or stolen.
Some tours include meals. Should you have dietary restrictions / allergies, it is your responsibility to make that known at least 30 days prior to sail date.
Tour participants must be in sufficient good health to undertake the tours offered on this website. You have the responsibility to select tours that are appropriate to your health, abilities and interests.
Wheelchairs / Scooters:
Some tours are not suitable for wheelchairs / scooters. This will be indicated when completing your booking. It is your responsibility to book only the tours which are suitable for you and / or your group. I cannot be responsibile for the tour choices made.
Activity Level: (currently being updated on website)
Each tour will be assiged an activity level, please ensure you book only tours which are suitable for you are your group. Sandras Cruise Tours, Sandra OLeary, Tour operators, cannot be responsible for tour choices made.
Misc:
While we plan some time for shopping during the tours, they are not primarily designed for shopping, and time allowed for this purpose may be limited and not guaranteed, due to various factors.
If there is a meal included in the tour, it is noted in tour details when you book. Otherwise, meals are at your own expense. I nor the tour operators can he held responsible for the quality or accuracy of meals provided. Should you have dietary restrictions / allergies, it is your responsibility to make that known at least 30 days prior to sail date.
CANCELLATION / Refund policy
- 100% refund if the ship does not call into a port, unless otherwise clearly noted on tour description. See below for any fees / expenses that could be deducted from your refund *1
- 100% refund, provided that you cancel your tour booking prior to 60 days of sail date. See below for any fees / expenses that could be deducted from your refund. *1
- Should a tour be cancelled by the tour operator for any reason, you will receive a refund of the tour amount you have paid. See below for any fees / expenses that could be deducted from your refund. *1
- No refund will be made for any optional tickets purchased on your behalf ( Museum visits, Cathedrals, trains etc.)
*1 Tour refunds will be reduced by expenses incurred by Sandras Cruise Tours / Sandra OLeary. This could include but is not limited to:
- bank charges
- postage
- currency conversion
- penalties assessed by tour operators
- credit card fees
- pre purchased entry tickets
I make substantial deposits to operators and suppliers for the tours, entry tickets, meals etc, far in advance of the scheduled tour dates. If a tour is cancelled due to situations out of my control (acts of God, labour strikes, earthquake, flooding, world disasters etc.), or any other reason, I will refund the portion of the tour cost not already advanced to operators and/ or amounts refunded by operators. I will use my best efforts to recover and refund the balance as soon as I possibly can. My best efforts does not include taking legal action. I cannot guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made.
Cancellations for any reason will result in a $20 charge per booking. This includes but is not limited to the cruise line or another body canceling a cruise due to Covid 19, travel restrictions, limitations placed on who can operate shore excursions, the cruise line allowing guests to book tours with only the cruise line or specific operators This charge is in place to cover time involved in planning and negotiating all tours, hotels, shuttles, keeping records, and the time that will be required to reverse this work and issue refunds. This fee is applied to each booking made and assigned a booking number.
PROMOTIONS:
From time to time you may see promotions offered on the website. Any tours that are discounted or reduced for a promotion, the savings will be entered into your account as a non refundable credit. This credit can be used towards any current or future booking that is not paid in full. Credits cannot be applied to a booking if it will result in overpayment, as refunds are not issued as a result of credits. They can be used for future sailings, and have no expiry date.
COVID 19 Implications:
Guidelines from governments change from time to time depending on the Covid infection rate and other factors. Local Governments and / or the cruise lines may impose restrictions as it relates to ground transportation and limit the number of passengers on vehicles in order to allow for social distancing. The excursions offered through the Cruise Line directly would likely have the same restrictions.
Most tours are booked on a per vehicle rate. If numbers permitted per vehicle are reduced due to Covid / Government or other reasons yet the vehicle rate remains the same, it could result in an increase in pricing or cancellation of that tour.
Payments:
Prices are quoted in US Dollars. 50% Deposit is required at time of booking to hold your spaces. Final payment is due 60 days prior to sailing date.
Prices are per person in USD unless otherwise noted (packages)
Refunds will be made in US Dollars.
Payments can be made via credit card. by clicking MAKE PAYMENT tab on the website.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS
- When going ashore, please make sure you have necessary documents, including but not limited to:
- Your valid passport or Government Issued ID
- Ship Card
- Any tour tickets required for you and your dependants / children.
- Information concerning meeting times and places.
- Medical Insurance / Health Card
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU OBTAIN APPROPRIATE TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCES FOR ALL PEOPLE IN YOUR GROUP. SANDRAS CRUISE TOURS WILL PROVIDE INSURANCE DOCUMENTS AS REQUIRED TO FILE A CLAIM.
